§ 44. Transfer of budget funds.

The village manager may at any time transfer any unencumbered appropriation balance or portion thereof between general classifications of expenditures within an office or department. At the request of the village manager and within the last three (3) months of the budget year, the council may by resolution transfer any unencumbered appropriation balance or portion thereof from one office or department to another.

This section has been editorially deleted from the Charter as it was converted to an ordinance by operation of F.S. § 166.021(5) which converted all provisions of special acts pertaining to the power and jurisdiction of a city with certain listed exceptions into ordinances to be amended as all other ordinances of the city and it has been transferred to the Code of Ordinances and is section 18-141.
