§ 2. Village boundaries.

  • The territorial boundaries of the municipality to be called Bal Harbour Village, in the County of Dade and State of Florida, shall be as follows:

    Beginning at the intersection of the center line of 96th Street in the Town of Surfside, Florida, or the south line of Section 26, Township 52 South, Range 42 East, Dade County, Florida, with the westerly line of Harding Avenue (in said Town of Surfside) produced northerly as same is shown on a plat entitled "Ocean Front section of Bay Harbor" as recorded in Plat Book 44, Page 27, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, run in a westerly direction along the southerly line of said Section 26 a distance of 1269.4 feet to the westerly face of a concrete bulkhead, thence, continue westerly along the south line of said Section 26 a distance of 150 feet plus or minus to the center line of Indian Creek, thence, run in a northwesterly direction deflecting 79 degrees to the right from the south line of said Section 26 along the approximate center line of Indian Creek a distance of 4600 feet plus or minus to the southerly line of the Baker's Haulover District property. Thence, run easterly along the southerly line of the Baker's Haulover District property, and the same being produced easterly to a point 1500 feet easterly from the mean low water line of the Atlantic Ocean, thence, run southerly paralleling the easterly mean low water line of the Atlantic Ocean, a distance of 4500 feet plus or minus to the southerly line of said Section 26, thence, run westerly along the southerly line of said Section 26, Township 52 South, Range 42 East, Dade County, Florida, to the point of beginning. All of said property lying and being in Dade County, Florida.
