§ 12. Dangerous buildings; signs; removal; regulation.

  • The village shall have the right to prohibit the erection of, and after construction, to condemn and destroy or remove or to require destruction or removal of buildings, or other structures, including billboards and other advertising devices, of unsafe, dangerous or faulty construction, or in locations or of a height or character dangerous, or likely to become dangerous, detrimental or degrading to the public or to inhabitants, or some thereof, or likely to produce or incite conflicts or disorders among them; and to prohibit all commercial billboards or signs.
