§ 6-172. Application, plans and specifications to accompany.

  • Application for building Permit shall be submitted and approved by the Building Official. The applicant shall be accompanied by two (2) copies of a Site Plan; two (2) copies of the plans and specifications far the proposed Antenna; two (2) copies of the mounting detail for the proposed Antenna, and two (2) copies of a landscape or cover plan. The Site Plan shall be drawn at a scale no smaller than one (1) inch equals twenty (20) feet and shall show the location of the proposed Antenna on the lot including the distance of the Antenna from the property lines, back lines and from existing structures on the lot. The plans and specifications shall show all dimensions, size and kind of members, footings, guy wires; location, depth and type of guy anchors and footings; type, weight and dimensions of the Antenna. The mounting detail drawn at a scale no smaller than one-half (½) inch equals one foot shall indicate the height, color and method of installation of the proposed Antenna and how the Antenna is to be grounded. A structural engineer registered in the State of Florida shall certify that the plans and specifications and mounting detail comply with the Florida Building Code and that the structure is capable of withstanding one hundred twenty-five (125) miles per hour winds at the top of the Antenna. For Roof-or Wall-Mounted Antennas written documentation shall include load distributions within the building's support structure.
