§ 9-30. Term; transfer.

No receipt shall be issued for more than one year, and all receipts shall expire on September 30 of each year. All local business tax receipts may be transferred, with the approval of the Village Clerk, with the business for which they are taken out, when there is a bona fide sale and transfer of the Property used and embraced in the business so sold or transferred, provided the original receipt shall be submitted to the Village Clerk, who shall make note thereon of the transfer.
