§ 16-5. Fees imposed for collection of solid waste and recycling services.

The Village Council is hereby authorized to impose fees for the collection of solid waste and for the providing of recycling services. Such fees shall be set and may be amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Council following a public hearing. The fees shall be set at a rate which is determined by the Village Council to at least be sufficient to cover all of the Village's costs and expenses in providing solid waste and recycling services. The fees shall be applicable for service which is provided from and after October 1, 2007.
