§ 13-51. Same—State refund moneys for Police Officers.

(a)

Deposit in trust. All moneys refunded or paid to the Village for and on behalf of the Police Officers pursuant to F.S. § 185.11, shall be deposited into the trust under this Plan. All such moneys shall be used for the exclusive purpose of providing additional benefits for Police Officers over and above the benefits otherwise provided under this article for General Employees.

(b)

Time limit on deposits. All such moneys received from the State or any instrumentality or agency thereof for such purposes shall be deposited by the Village into the trust fund within five days of receipt by the Village or the Village may authorize the State Division of Retirement to deposit such moneys directly into the fund.
